Two Jack Lake - Johnston Canyon - Vermillion Lakes
It was early April when a handful of us decided to visit some of the popular Banff Lakes (Two Jack & Vermillion) and Johnston Canyon. It was such an ideal time to visit as the weather was warm, but cool enough to hold some ice and snow. The next section of photos are from Two Jack Lake and Johnston Canyon.
I have to say this has to be one of the best times to visit Johnston Canyon, as there was a fine balance of ice to walk on and explore along the canyon, and flowing water to capture movement.
After visiting the lake and canyon, we grabbed a quick warm bowl of ramen in Banff and waited for the sun to set out by the Vermillion Lakes.
There wasn't much of a sunset this evening, but it was still nice to spend the evening out by the lake to end off the day.
